This Year's Inventory of Hybrids and EVs from Ford
There are no sedans from Ford this year in either electric or hybrid form. However, you can choose three SUVs and four trucks in hybrid or electric for your commute from Dallas to Rockmart. All electric vehicles include the Ford F-150 Lightning and the Mustang Mach-E. A standard hybrid model might resemble the Maverick, F-150, or the Escape ST Line Elite. In terms of a plug-in hybrid, there is just the Escape plug-in hybrid.
These electric or gas-powered vehicles also have their own trim levels. With as many options as you have and the potential to build your own model as you like it, there's no telling what your Ford hybrid or EV will look like.
Trim Models
No Ford hybrid or EV this year has less than three trim levels. There are lots of options and lots of upgrades with each trim level.
The Mustang Mach-E
The classic Mustang is overhauled into an SUV seating five people comfortably. There are four trim levels for this luxury sport SUV:
- Select
- Premium
- GT
- Mustang Mach-E Rally
There's a ton of power under the hood no matter which trim level of this Mustang you choose. It can go the distance as a hybrid is especially impressive.
The F-150 Lightning
This is Ford's first fully electric truck this year. It has twice the battery power to carry you through the heaviest loads and hauls. It, too, comes in four trim levels:
- Pro
- XLT
- LARIAT
- Platinum
Perhaps the most interesting feature of the F-150 Lighting is the "frunk" or front trunk where the engine usually is, and the truck's ability to act as a power generator anywhere.
The Maverick
This is a nice small-sized truck, but it still has plenty of power. It has three trim levels to choose from:
- XL
- XLT
- LARIAT
The 2.5-liter hybrid engine or the 2.0 EcoBoost engine are options on all models.
The F-150 Hybrid
In a sharp twist, the F-150 has so many configuration options it will make your head spin. The 3.5-liter PowerBoost full hybrid engine is just one of six different engine options you can plug into any one of eight trim levels:
- XL
- STX
- XLT
- TREMOR
- LARIAT
- King Ranch
- Platinum
- Raptor

The Escape ST-Line Elite
This is one of the six trim levels for the Ford Escape, but the only one with a hybrid engine as standard. You can choose a different Escape trim model and request a hybrid engine substitution, which is an option on some of the upper trim levels of the Escape.
The Escape Plug-in Hybrid
Again, another trim model of the Ford Escape, so it doesn't have additional trim levels itself. You can add extra options packages, but that requires building your vehicle online.
