When the Mustang Mach-E made its debut at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show, it was met with some skepticism. Many in Cedartown, GA and beyond doubted whether an electric vehicle could hold the essence of the iconic Mustang legacy. Even a few team members at Peach State Ford adopted a cautious optimism, as it was an unprecedented move by Ford.

A Remarkable Evolution in Four Years

Fast forward to today, and the Mustang Mach-E has established itself as a best-seller in the EV segment, both in Rockmart, GA and across the United States. Pushing the boundaries even further, Ford introduces the 2024 Mustang Mach-E Rally Edition. This groundbreaking model has not only made its mark on the streets but also on the challenging terrain of the Rebelle Rally.

The Rebelle Rally Feat

The Rebelle Rally, akin to the famous Baja 1000 race, is a unique all-women endurance challenge that combines off-road driving with traditional navigation skills. Taking on this grueling eight-day journey, Kayleigh Miller and Bailey Campbell put the Mach-E Rally Edition to the test. With mobile recharge stations scattered throughout the course, the vehicle's battery was kept fueled. What's even more impressive is that the Mach-E participating was a stock model, identical to what you'll find at Peach State Ford. Its only alterations were live-streaming cameras and an essential medical kit.

A Historic Accomplishment

For the first time in Ford Mustang's storied history, a model has triumphed over a desert rally. Previously, Mustangs were celebrated muscle cars but weren't seen as rally contenders. The new Mach-E Rally Edition, however, showcases unmatched versatility - proving its mettle both on the drag strip and in challenging terrains where traditional Mustangs wouldn't venture.
