The Escape has long been a popular vehicle in Ford's lineup of SUVs. This compact vehicle saw a complete redesign for the 2020 model year. We invite you to learn more about the new 2020 Escape online today.

Completely Redesigned Exterior

One of the things you'll notice immediately about this fourth-generation Escape is that it looks less like an SUV than in the past. It looks more like a traditional car, with a longer, lower and smoother exterior styling. The staff at our dealership believes that this feature will allow the Escape to appeal to those buyers who have been left out in the cold by Ford's discontinuation of its traditional sedans as well as for those who want an SUV that looks different from the pack. The Escape maintains its SUV heritage, however, as it still maintains its crossover proportions.

New Powertrain Options

After a prolonged absence, Ford has brought back a hybrid option for drivers who are concerned about the environment. The plug-in hybrid model won't be available until Spring 2020, but until then you have a choice of a regular hybrid along with a base 1.5-liter EcoBoost turbocharged three-cylinder engine or a 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine that provides faster acceleration than in previous models.

Comfortable Interior

The Escape's cabin also received a complete makeover, making it more comfortable than ever. You'll enjoy more room, especially in the second row where legroom has increased significantly. Behind the rear seat, you'll find an additional 3.5 cubic feet of cargo space for a total of 37.5 cubic feet. Cabin controls are easily accessible and divided by task, making it easy for the driver to locate everything.
